Hill Park has a cricket oval with a turf wicket and is home to the Alstonville and District Cricket Club. The Ballina Seagulls play their rugby league at Kingsford Smith Park and the Ballina Soccer Club plays at Saunders Oval. Not one of those is a big club, and between them they cover most of the shire's sport.
