Five details turn a rough enquiry into a firm price and a firm date.
Professional design is free, drawn by our in-house team from your colours, logo and ideas. The minimum order is 20 units per design.
Once your order is placed, mock-up revisions are unlimited right through to design approval. Production is guaranteed at 3 to 4 weeks from the day you approve the design.
An umpiring panel answers the third item differently from a club. It is not telling us which colours represent it, it is telling us which colours are already taken across the competition, and we design into what is left.
Albury Umpires is a VS Wear customer, which is a useful thing for any panel or committee on this border to know: the same design service and the same production guarantee that dress a club's fifteen sides also dress the people running their fixtures.

View the VS Wear GalleryAlbury Umpires is a VS Wear customer, and it is the reason this page starts where it does. The Ovens & Murray Football Netball League runs Australian rules football and netball across north-eastern Victoria and the southern Riverina in New South Wales, with ten clubs including Albury, Corowa-Rutherglen, Lavington, Myrtleford, North Albury, Wangaratta, Wangaratta Rovers, Wodonga and Yarrawonga. Every one of those fixtures needs officials, and officials have a uniform problem that no club in the competition has.
A club chooses colours that represent it. A panel chooses colours that cannot be mistaken for anybody. An officiating uniform has to read clearly against both teams, in every fixture, for a whole season, which means the design conversation runs backwards: instead of asking what you want to look like, we ask which palettes are already in use across the draw and design into what is left. It is a genuinely different job, and it is one of the few uniform decisions where standing out from everyone is the entire point.

A panel is a small group ordering for a long season of weekly wear, which changes what matters. The minimum order is 20 units per design, so panels usually reach it by putting shirts, warm-up layers and a bag or cap on the one design rather than by ordering more shirts than anybody needs. Junior and adult sizes go into the same production run, under one approved design, which matters for panels that include junior umpires alongside adults.
For the clubs here the border is the defining fact. The competition spans New South Wales and Victoria, so a club's away trips cross the river regularly, its junior players may attend school in a different state system from their teammates, and its committee deals with two sets of everything except the fixture list. None of that changes an order: we ship to either side on identical terms, and the season runs to the league's calendar rather than to a state's.
Winter football and netball across this region run roughly March to September, with cricket taking the summer. A club still deciding in February is fitting design, approval and the guaranteed 3 to 4 week production window into its busiest registration weeks, and a panel leaving its order until the draw is released is in the same position. Delivering wherever you are is not a throwaway line on a border. A panel drawn from both sides of the Murray, a club whose committee lives in one state and plays in the other, and a school system that stops at the river all sit inside one urban area here, and none of it changes what an order costs or when it arrives.
Uniforms are designed and produced centrally, then freighted to whichever address your club nominates. We supply clubs, associations and schools across that whole footprint, on both sides of the state line.
An umpiring panel has no clubrooms, so the sensible nomination there is a member's workplace or home address, and it makes no difference which state it is in. Clubs generally use their own clubrooms on a training night. We also supply Wangaratta down the highway and Albury on the New South Wales side, our custom sportswear Victoria page covers how the state's codes and seasons are structured, and the full list of Victoria cities we service covers the rest of the state.
Committees pricing several grades at once can start with our free custom team uniforms guide, which covers sizing and artwork for multi-team orders.
Yes, and Albury Umpires is one of our customers. Shirts, polos, warm-up layers and bags are all made to your panel's own design, fully sublimated, on the same factory-direct terms and the same guaranteed production window as a club order.
VS Wear designs and manufactures fully sublimated custom sports uniforms for clubs, schools, associations and corporate teams: playing kit, training gear, warm-ups and off-field wear across the football codes, netball, basketball, cricket and soccer. Every order is produced factory-direct and shipped Australia-wide.
Tell us which palettes are in use across your competition and we design into what is left, then show you the result on a mock-up before anything is produced. Revisions are unlimited once the order is placed, so it costs nothing to test a second option against the same list.
Three to four weeks from design approval, guaranteed. The design and revision stage sits in front of that, and how long it takes depends on how quickly your committee signs off the mock-up.
To one address you nominate, on either side of the river. For a panel that is usually a member's workplace or home rather than a ground, and the state it sits in makes no difference to the price or the timing.
The minimum order is 20 units per design. Adult and junior sizes can share the one production run, so a single side with its coaching staff generally clears it.
Small, as long as the design reaches twenty units in total. Panels normally get there by combining shirts with warm-up layers, caps or bags rather than by over-ordering shirts, and junior umpires can be sized in the same run as the adults.
Yes, and clubs in this league usually should. Both codes sit under one committee, so guernseys, shorts, dresses and bibs can be drawn from a single colour scheme, approved once and produced together rather than as two separate jobs.
No. VS Wear does not have a store or showroom in Albury Wodonga. Every order is designed and produced centrally, then freighted to the address you nominate, whether that is a clubroom or a school office. That model is what holds pricing 30 to 40% below usual retail, and it means Albury Wodonga clubs get the same free design service, the same guaranteed 3 to 4 week turnaround and the same Australian-based support as any other order in the country.
Yes. Albury Wodonga primary and secondary schools order house sport colours, representative team uniforms and PE gear on the same factory-direct terms as the clubs, and a single year group usually clears the 20 unit minimum.
