VS Wear supplies fully sublimated custom sports uniforms to Australian football, cricket, soccer, netball and rugby league clubs, schools and associations right across the Northern Territory, produced factory-direct at 30 to 40% below usual retail pricing and shipped to any Territory address on a guaranteed 3 to 4 week turnaround from design approval.
Every garment is drawn to your own colours and logo, from a minimum of 20 units per design, whether your season starts in October or in April.

Australian football leads the Territory, cricket and soccer take the dry season, and netball, rugby league and school sport fill the rest of the calendar.

The minimum order is 20 units per design. Professional design is free, drawn by our in-house team from your colours, logo and ideas.
One quote can carry playing kit, training gear and off-field wear across every age group. Production is guaranteed at 3 to 4 weeks from the day you approve the design.
Once your order is placed, mock-up revisions are unlimited right through to design approval. Every order carries our 100% remake guarantee: finished garments that do not match the approved artwork or production files are remade at our cost.
Territory clubs tend to order by half of the year rather than by grade. A football club covers its premier and junior grades in one pass before the wet, and a cricket club does the same before the dry, so the practical unit here is the season rather than the team.
Colour choice matters more when a guernsey will be worn in wet season heat and photographed in the middle of the day, so it is worth seeing how a palette behaves on a finished garment rather than on a screen.

View the VS Wear GalleryTop End football is played from October to March, straight through the wet season, and it is one of the very few Australian football competitions contested over the Australian summer. The reason is practical rather than historical: wet season rain makes cricket unplayable, and dry season grounds are too hard for football, so the two codes swapped halves of the year. Cricket therefore takes the dry, and the Darwin and Districts Cricket Competition, which fields seven clubs across men's, women's, boys' and girls' grades, is described as the premier winter cricket competition in Australia. Soccer sits in the same dry window: a Football Northern Territory season has run from 22 April to 16 September.
Every deadline in the Top End lands in the opposite half of the year to the rest of the country. A football club needing gear on the ground for an October round one is approving artwork around August, while southern football clubs are mid-season and not thinking about uniforms at all, and a cricket club opening in April is approving in about February, when southern cricket is winding up. Committees that borrow a southern timetable from a national guide consistently arrive late, and it is the most avoidable mistake we see from the Territory.

A southern club running football and netball can put both codes on one quote because both play through the same winter. A Territory club running football and cricket cannot: its halves sit six months apart, so one order goes in before the wet and another before the dry. The useful move is to treat the off-code half as the design window rather than a dead period, because the free design stage is exactly what a committee has time for when it is not running a competition.
Off-field wear, training gear and bags are not tied to either season, so putting them on whichever order is already open keeps a club above the 20 unit minimum on a design it might otherwise have to hold over.
Central Australia is a second system again, with its own Australian rules competition based in Alice Springs and the Central Australian Rugby Football League governing league in the same region, so a committee down the centre works to its own calendar rather than the Top End's. Tell us your round one date and we will work the design stage back from it.

Scale in the Territory is measured in grades rather than in clubs. A Top End football club carries premier grades for men and women, lower men's divisions and under 18, under 16 and junior teams, and all of them go on the one approved design.
That matters most for the smallest sides. A junior grade of twenty is quoted on the same terms as a premier grade and works from the same held artwork, so the youngest team is not the one wearing a different shade of the colours.
Uniforms are designed and produced centrally, then freighted to whichever address your club, school or association nominates, from the Top End down through the centre.

Our custom sportswear Darwin page covers the Top End city and its wet season competition, our custom sportswear Alice Springs page covers Central Australia, and the full list of Northern Territory cities we service covers the rest of the state through our Northern Territory cities directory.
Territory addresses sit further from a freight network than most, so build a little more room into the delivery leg and nominate an address that is attended during the day. Committees pricing several grades at once can start with our free custom team uniforms guide, which covers sizing and artwork for multi-team orders.
Work back from round one. With the season opening in October and production guaranteed at 3 to 4 weeks from approval, a club wants its design approved around August, the middle of the southern football season and the reason so many Territory committees leave it late.
VS Wear designs and manufactures fully sublimated custom sports uniforms for clubs, schools, associations and corporate teams: playing kit, training gear, warm-ups and off-field wear across the football codes, netball, basketball, cricket and soccer. Every order is produced factory-direct and shipped Australia-wide.
Around February for an April start. Territory cricket runs April to September, so the approval window falls while southern cricket clubs are finishing their season rather than starting one.
Not for playing kit, because the seasons sit six months apart and gear ordered in one goes to the wrong half of the year. Off-field wear, training gear and bags are different: they belong on whichever order is already open, which usually makes the second order of the year the smaller one.
Three to four weeks from design approval, guaranteed. The design and revision stage sits in front of that, and how long it takes depends on how quickly your committee signs off the mock-up.
The minimum order is 20 units per design. Adult and junior sizes can share the one production run, so a single side with its coaching staff generally clears it.
Yes. We ship Australia-wide and remote Territory addresses are part of that. The delivery leg is longer than a capital-city one, which is why the timing advice above matters more here than anywhere else we supply.
It is the harder half of the year for road access, so a club ordering for an October start is sending a consignment into the beginning of it. Approving in August rather than September puts the delivery leg in front of the weather rather than inside it.
No. VS Wear does not have a store or showroom in the Northern Territory. Every order is designed and produced centrally, then freighted to the address you nominate, whether that is a clubroom or a school office. That model is what holds pricing 30 to 40% below usual retail, and it means the Northern Territory clubs get the same free design service, the same guaranteed 3 to 4 week turnaround and the same Australian-based support as any other order in the country.
All of them, from Darwin and the Top End through to Alice Springs and Central Australia, including the schools and community organisations between them. The Territory cities directory lists the pages we have written in detail.
