The Waves Sports Club carries 16 sub-clubs covering soccer, rugby league, cricket, netball, Australian rules, rugby union, softball, swimming, bowls, golf, bocce, fishing and horse riding. Its senior rugby league sub-club alone has more than 290 members across A grade, reserve grade and under-18s, and The Waves Netball Club carries over 140 members across junior and senior teams.
An organisation on that scale never buys everything at once.
